Seculock Pro
My fascination and work experience within the industry of producing and installing high end door securing systems in cars is from 2019.
With investors, the idea came to set up a company to develop a new high tec door security system for the automotive sector based on the latest technology.
So in 2025 Seculock Europe BV developed a system for securing doors and trunks in civil cars and for various doors in delivery vans.
The system is called Seculock Pro.
Why the system was developed
We are living in times where theft from items in cars is increasingly happening. Whether it is high valuables, weaponry or the work tools in service vans.
Not only does the theft of these items this create financial losses, it is also consuming the time to settle matters after burglary. Whether with police and/or insurance companies.
Another important issue is that users of the cars that have valuable items in their cars need to feel safe. They know what the risks can be of having certain goods in their car or van.
With all this in mind Seculock Europe BV has developed the Seculock Pro system which is not only making it very difficult to forcefully open doors or trunks on cars, it also has integrated a start immobilizer and an alarm/panic button to contact to police, security companies and/or home office in case of emergency. This way users of Seculock Pro will feel safer. Furthermore, remote opening of doors is an option. This way for instance the office can remote open the door or trunk.
Development and installation
With the advice of companies in production and installation of safety/protection systems in the automotive industry, we have developed Seculock Pro systems.
Through the cooperation we have with the renowned company of Ralph van Beusekom, Dutron BV for the top wiring looms and the fantastic support of Waldemar Dobek of PARA for the fantastic stainless-steel housings, we have been able to do create this fantastic product line of Seculock.
The product line has been developed to make the installation for our partners as fast as possible with keeping a close eye on quality. So not only the high-end electronic locking system but also the parts needed to install the Seculock Pro system. We all know the price of labour per hour, so finding a way to increase efficiency in installation was also a big driver for the development.
Insurance and dealer network
In 2025 we presented Seculock Pro system to one of the leading German insurance companies for them to understand our approach to security and get their support in this. With the Seculock Pro system in the cars the insurance company allows to have valuables to a certain value guaranteed insured.
So subsequently we are very happy and proud to have, through our dealer network in Germany, cars on the road for the jewellery and gold/silver business. This is mainly in southern Germany.
On our website you will find a film of one of the first cars build by one of our dealers in Germany. Next to that we put pictures of installations in other cars.
Seculock Europe BV will have a dealer network throughout Europe. These dealers are coachbuilders and professional automotive service points. Sofar we have a dealer network which covers Germany with 11 dealers. Therefore, service in Germany on the Seculock Pro system will be a regional matter. At the same time, we will develop the rest of the European market.
Some of our dealers are coach builders for government institutions. That all I can say about that segment. However, to reach these customers we will exhibit regular with the Seculock Pro system on the biggest European Police trade fair GPEC.
Looking ahead
I am very happy to have the investors in Seculock Europe BV giving me the trust to run this company. For me it is a happy feeling to still work in the automotive industry. For the rest, it is a fascinating and interesting challenge. I am sure the market is there to develop.
